Rain of Fire

Just a few hours ago, on the 15 of April, people in lower Michigan witnessed spectacular fireballs raining down from the sky. Streaks of fire lit up the sky and were almost as bright as the sun for the few seconds that they streamed down to Earth, and sonic booms were following the display of light - needless to say many thought the world was seconds away from coming to an end. However, authorities reported that it was nothing more than a meteor shower. However, this just highlights the growing paranoia that the world has now over natural disasters and the end of the world.
