NASA mishap

NASA lost a $2 million dollar telescope after an accident involving the balloon-that was supposed to lift the telescope- crashed shortly after take off. The telescope was built by Steven Boggs and his colleagues at the University of California, Berkley, and was supposed to monitor gamma waves, which are invisible to the naked eye, coming in from outer space. This telescope took approximately 3 years to build and was an experimental technology that... never got chanced to get experimented on. NASA has yet to reveal the cause of the accident.
